How do you see you?

Five years ago, I was in, what I call, for lack a

of a better words, a dark place. I call it that because I was in a place where I couldn't see beyond the now. Honestly, I was depressed and oppressed, but I pressed.

There were so many nights that I cried myself to sleep. There were days in which I struggled to eat and was just plain old exhausted; but I kept going.

Every single day, I got up! I got up and and I made a conscious decision to push through the pain. You see I am what you would call a "church" girl. I'm that preacher's kid that LIVED at church. I'd heard enough sermons to carry me through practically anything I could face, and I knew that somehow, if I just kept pushing, if I just kept going, something would break. Things would get better, and they did.

Although I was in a dark space, there was a hope that I had, that was bigger than what I could see. My vision, my faith, and my imagination had shown me "me" in a different space in life.

I saw "me" helping other women. I saw "me" walking in success. I saw "me" being with someone who loves me appropriately. I saw "me" in a span of my life where I was genuinely happy and it sparked hope in ME! What I saw in "me," gave "me," new life! So today, I want to take a moment and encourage anyone who might be facing "see nothing days." Take a moment and dream! Imagine yourself doing what you've always desired. See yourself healthy, traveling, and pursuing your wildest dreams; every day when your feet hit the floor, give thanks to God and then think about that dream.

Ask yourself what do I need to do to make that dream a reality; then work it. Every day, do something that will get you closer to manifestation. You see, when you focus on something that illuminates light/life, darkness is required to dissipate/leave.

Stop waiting for someone to see greatness in you! They may never see it! I repeat they may never see it! But you better see it in you, and when you see it, you have the power to manifest it!

My name is Tiffany LaMeia and I am dedicated to becoming a better me, encouraging you to be a better you, and helping you to understand that you are #ENOUGH!

The love of chocolate...

📷It’s been over 9 years since I had my last piece of chocolate, and I still dream of taking a bite. Oh how its sweet aroma still...
